The Secret of the Sapphire Sentinel is a novel by Jendia Gammon–writing as J. Dianne Dotson. This book is the sequel to her 2023 book, The Inn at the Amethyst Lantern, which was a finalist for both a Nebula and BSFA award. The Secret of the Sapphire Sentinel (a sequel) is the second book in Gammon’s lunarpunk trilogy.

In July of 2024, Publisher’s Weekly announced a two-book deal with publisher, Android Press. The 3rd book in the trilogy, The Dawn of Dusk and Twilight (a prequel) is slated for release in October of 2026.
